RCSF funds counselling for people impacted by road traffic collisions who do not have a civil claim to draw on. For survivors, families, and witnesses who would otherwise have nowhere to turn for funded support.

  1. If you witnessed a road traffic collision and what you saw is still with you.

    Being a witness is its own form of involvement. The standard claims process rarely reaches witnesses, but the impact can be lasting.

  2. If someone you loved was on the road that day, and the process has run its course.

    When a settlement closes, or when there was never going to be one, the need for support does not close with it.

  3. If your case never reached a settlement, and counselling has never been within reach.

    Insurer-funded counselling depends on a successful claim. Without one, the cost falls back to the person. RCSF exists to take that cost off the table.

How it works

Three steps. No catches.

A clear path from "I need help" to "I have a counsellor". Built to be the least painful part of a difficult time.

  1. You apply

    A short form. Tell us who you are, what happened, and what you need. There are no trick questions. There is no panel of judges. The form takes a few minutes.

  2. We review, humanly

    A real person reads every application. If we need to understand more, we'll follow up by email at a pace that suits you. No automated decisions, no scoring algorithm.

  3. If we can fund counselling, we do

    We will tell you either way. If we can fund counselling, we will walk you through what happens next and how the funding works.

The foundation

We exist for the people the system leaves behind.

RCSF was founded by Neil Clarke, a former police officer, after years on the response side of road traffic collisions. He saw what came after — and he saw who got left without the help they needed. The foundation exists to put that right, one funded session at a time.
